Welcome To
County Rose Maltese
After watching my brother-in-law raise and breed these beautiful, loving angels for over 11 years on the West Coast my husband and I have decided to continue the family tradition on the East Coast. We are located in Central Indiana. If you are looking for a maltese angel on the west coast follow this link www.snowflakesinthesnowmaltese.com We started buying our AKC maltese dogs a few years back. They have so much love to give. My husband and I are learnng and loving it at the same time. Our goal is not to raise show quality maltese but pet quality maltese. Our dogs and future pups are well socialized in our home by our adult children and our grandchildren. (Not in a kennel.) Giving you a much more loving dog than one not been handled from the start. These dogs will give you 10 fold back what you give them.
We are located in Winchester, Indiana. We are in the country...our little acre of heaven. These dogs have became our children. You will simply love this breed. Ours are small, with most weighing 6 pounds or under as adult dogs.
(There are larger maltese weighing in range from 8 to 11 pounds. I have found most people are wanting the smaller size.) The maltese is a great dog for older people because they are great compainion and theopary dogs. As with any dog I don't recommend anyone getting a dog unless you have time to give it. These little dogs thrive on attention and can suffer greatly when left alone for long periods of time. If you have any question we will be glad to answer the best that we can. There is lots of great information on the internet about the maltese dog. Knowledge is power equipt your self with it and get to know the breed you are thinking about choosing.
Dogs are like people...God created each one of them different and unique. When God created each one of us and each little maltese he broke the mold after each one, none will be the same. I think just maybe Jesus has a maltese sitting at his feet, with his arms are out strethced saying "Come to me all you little maltese!"
